FAQs

WHY DON’T YOUR STAFF ANSWER THE PHONE?

All our appointments are booked online. Our therapists are just that, professional therapists, and are too busy delivering treatments to answer the phone.

Because we are a small team and aiming to keep costs down for our clients, we do not currently employ a receptionist.

Don’t worry, you will receive confirmation of your appointment by email or SMS text.

HOW SHOULD I MAKE THE MOST OF MY SESSION?

Before your first treatment, whatever the therapy is, your therapist will ask you some questions.

These are about your general health and medical history. They will discuss with you any issues that you mentioned on your initial medical form and give you the chance to ask any questions you want to about your treatment.

If at any point you are not comfortable with some aspect of your treatment, please tell the therapist doing it.

Likewise, if you would like a treatment applying more firmly, or lighter, then advise them of this immediately.

DOES DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE HAVE TO HURT TO WORK PROPERLY?

No! Although deep tissue massage can sometimes be slightly uncomfortable at no point should it cause you pain.

If you find the treatment is painful, instruct your therapist and they will stop.

After twenty four hours you should feel the benefits of a deep tissue massage.

CAN I CANCEL A SESSION THAT I HAVE BOOKED?

Yes, you can cancel a therapy session which has been booked, but we would like to have at least twenty four hours notice.

Short notice cancelation causes problems for our therapists, but of course, on occasion we know it is unavoidable.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I DON’T ARRIVE FOR MY SESSION?

We reserve the right to charge the full booking price for any client who does not show up to a booked session.

IS THIS MASSAGE PROFESSIONAL?

Absolutely yes. All our massage therapists are trained professionals and all hold certificates in massage and related therapies.

When you book with one of our personnel you can be assured of the highest possible standards and are in good hands.

HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR MY SESSION?

We would advise clients to wear loose clothing for their session.

Some forms of massage don’t require you to remove your clothing, but most of them will do.

The more comfortable you feel during your therapy session, the more beneficial it will be, so loose and comfortable clothing is best.

We also advise clients to arrive hydrated, take advantage of the water provided throughout the session and not to have a full stomach at the start of their treatment.
